What happens when I find a small piece of pretty printed ribbon and a few minutes to spare ?

Answer: a DIY project that takes less than 5 minutes.

The result- a cute hairpin that can make a bad hair day good and a good hair day great !!!

What you need:

  • Hairpins
  • Ribbons, 2 different sizes
  • Needle and thread
  • Scissors

How to make it:

  • Cut the ribbon in a rectangular piece.
  • Fold it in half and stitch the edges (use a good quality glue, if you’re not too good with a needle and thread)
  • Gather the middle and secure it with a thread and cover it with a thinner ribbon.
  • Stitch it onto a hairpin

And viola !!!

A new hairpin is ready in less than 5 minutes..

Tip- feel free to try different designs by playing around with colours, shapes and sizes..

Every new thing you add gives you a brand new accessory ! 🙂

Hope you try it and love it !

Until next time..
