When yolo seems utterly inadequate!

“Please, don’t worry so much. Because in the end, none of us have very long on this Earth. Life is fleeting. And if you’re ever distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky when the stars are strung across the velvety night. And when a shooting star streaks through the blackness, turning night into day… make a wish and think of me. Make your life spectacular. I know I did.”

The ending monologue from the movie Jack sums it up quite eloquently… The older we grow, the only thing we realize is that life is too damn short, to hate, to be unhappy, to be angry, to be around people who don’t matter…

Personally, I’ve never liked the use of yolo, and I rarely ever do, because it never satisfies what I’m trying to say. I always feel like I’m parodying my own message when I say it… So today when I finally found something so deep and beautifully put, and in just over a minute, I just knew I HAD to share it…

Here’s to the fleeting moments that we call life.. 🙂
